Coal National Heritage Area

Opened in 1980, the Milan Puskar Stadium seats 60,000 fans come game day. Within the Milan Puskar Stadium, the games take place atop Mountaineer Field.
In 2004, after a generous $20 million donation from local resident Milan Puskar, the the name of the complex was altered. You'll find the Milan Puskar Stadium within the West Virginia University campus, just off of Medical Center Drive, and only minutes from the Monongahela River.

A private Roman Catholic college, Wheeling Jesuit University is located in Wheeling in the West Virginia panhandle near the Pennsylvania border. Founded in 1954, WJU features a 65-acre campus – home to Acker Science Center, Donahue Hall, and more.
WJU is also home to the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals – a collection of 21 teams competing in the NCAA Division II. Wheeling Jesuit University also offers annual events on campus like Last Blast, Culture Fest, and Jesuit Idol.
