Berkeley Springs State Park features wonderful warm mineral springs, flowing at a rate of 2,000 gallons per minute. Berkeley Springs was first established as Bath, in 1776, and was regularly visited by George Washington. Washington helped establish the springs as a health spa, when he and four other signers of the Constitution purchased land near the springs.
Today's visitors soak in the warm springs in the 750-gallon ceramic, walk-in, Roman Bath. The tub is perfect for lounging, floating and relaxing. The 150-gallon whirlpool Jacuzzi tub, saunas and Swedish-style massages are also very relaxing. While traveling in northern West Virginia, rest comfortably with Best Western hotels.
